Description: Senior level Industrial Engineer performs a wide variety of engineeringassignments, which are broad in nature requiring originality and ingenuity.Evaluates existing and new products, proposes new methods and processes tomaximize manufacturing efficiency. Serves as liaison with other plant locationsas required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Perform a wide variety of investigative and analytical studies pertaining primarily to the development of effective standards, design of effective and economical methods and processes and the maintenance of related records and reports. Review and evaluate Engineering documentation (drawings and B/M's) to ensure compliance with "single" B/M requirements prior to formal release.From such studies, anticipate any potential manufacturing problems and implementrequired actions to resolve these problems prior to actual production. Makedesign recommendations to reduce manufacturing costs and enhance productquality.
Coordinate Manufacturing, Materials and M/E on new model introductions. Support manufacturing departments by resolving day to day product problems. Make changes in methods, design or equipment where necessary. Define problem andinterface with necessary departments to ensure their immediate resolution.
Follow-up as necessary to guarantee that problem has been corrected to thesatisfaction of all concerned.
Provide training to necessary personnel in new methods and processes.Maintain all required contacts to keep abreast of developments in methods,equipment and other fields of possible value to the Company. Investigate items of potential useful application to Company operation and make recommendations as to adoption.
Coordinates and participates in departmental cost savings programs and the valueanalysis projects as directed.

Take time studies on group or individual, direct or indirect labor operations todevelop standard data and/or verify existing data.
Utilize a wide range of timestudy techniques such as continuous, repetitive, and ratio delay to establishequitable standards.
As assigned, instruct other in time study techniques,methods, application of standard data for estimating and comparative costs.
