Lean Industrial Engineer based in central Minnesota.

Our client is ACTIVELY SEARCHING for a Lean Industrial Engineer based in central Minnesota. Your prime responsibility will be to drive the implementation of Lean manufacturing in a large manufacturing division covering 4 Midwest locations.

Successful candidates MUST HAVE a BS Eng degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field and 1 to 2 years of solid work experience in a Lean Manufacturing shop (if no degree then at least 4 years experience is required). PLUSES: practical knowledge of Six Sigma principles (Kaizen, JIT, Continuous Improvement), background in auto parts manufacturer or supplier. Excellent opportunity for a junior-level engineer to advance to the next level with a solid, established corporation. Very competitive total compensation, including benefits and 401(k). Relocation assistance available for the appropriate candidate.
