Jairo de Jesus, director of industrial engineering for Farmland Foods, was inducted into the Black Achievers Society of Kansas City. The 34-year-old organization has recognized more than 400 minority leaders in industry in the Kansas City area. He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Arkansas as well as an M.B.A. from Baker University. He is also an active member in the National Society of Black Engineers.
